DePaul is Jacksonville’s first dyslexia-specific school. A non-profit program that serves children grades 2-8, DePaul fills a gap in our community’s educational system that is not equipped to either easily identify or remediate struggling readers. By supporting Drinks for Dyslexia, your dollars will help our school successfully move to a new, larger location so that we may serve more students in need of our specialized curriculum. Your dollars will also help us build The DePaul Dyslexia Literacy Center, which will be THE space in town where all teachers can come to learn the Orton-Gillingham teaching technique, where adult dyslexic individuals can remediate their reading skills, and where reading specialists who push into the jails to tutor dyslexic inmates can come to learn up-to-date methods of teaching. DePaul is one of a kind. There is no other space in Jacksonville like it. We are growing in an attempt to better serve the dyslexic kids in Jacksonville and beyond! Please help us!
